The Sister Study is delighted to shine a spotlight on our very dedicated volunteer, Margaret Hubbard, Mammography Secretary at the Mecklenburg County Health Department-Breast Cancer Screening Program in Charlotte, NC.  In her position, Margaret sees many women of varied races, ethnicities and ages and has been diligently taking those who are eligible by the hand, encouraging them to join the Sister Study, sometimes even calling a recruiter herself and handing the phone to the eligible woman for an in depth explanation of the study.  Since her involvement with our recruitment efforts in 2005, Margaret has been routinely requesting materials to distribute and patiently explaining the Sister Study to women who she believes must take their place in this important research.  Her soft spoken manner and steady focus on recruitment have been a tremendous contribution to our efforts.  We congratulate Margaret for being our featured volunteer and look forward to her continued support!
